Terms & Conditions
Please read our very transparent terms and conditions carefully.
Last Updated: May 29, 2026
Welcome to Bells & Bows. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Bells & Bows website and the services we provide. By accessing this website and/or submitting a wishlist or quote request, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full.
1. Definitions
- “We”, “Us”, “Our”: Refers to Bells & Bows.
- “Client”, “You”, “Your”: Refers to the individual, couple, or entity using our website or booking our styling services.
- “Services”: Refers to the event styling, design, and decor rental items provided by Bells & Bows.
- “Wishlist” / “Quote Request”: The list of items submitted by the Client via our website for the purpose of receiving a formal quotation.
2. Wishlists and Quotations
- 2.1 Submitting a wishlist through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking or a legally binding contract. It is a request for a formal quotation based on your desired styling items.
- 2.2 All items listed on the website are subject to availability for your chosen event date.
- 2.3 Upon receiving your wishlist, we will review the details and provide a formal, personalized quotation. Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
3. Booking and Payment Terms
- 3.1 Securing Your Date: A booking is only confirmed once a non-refundable booking fee (typically 25-50% of the total quote) has been received, and a formal contract/invoice has been signed or agreed upon.
- 3.2 Final Balance: The remaining balance of the invoice must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Failure to pay the final balance may result in the cancellation of our services without a refund of the initial booking fee.
- 3.3 Minimum Spend: Depending on the venue location and date, a minimum spend requirement may apply. This will be clearly communicated during the quotation process.
4. Cancellations and Amendments
- 4.1 Cancellation by Client: If you choose to cancel your booking, the initial booking fee is strictly non-refundable as it covers administrative work and holds your date, turning away other potential clients.
- 4.2 Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will require full payment of the original invoice, as it is unlikely we can re-book the date at such short notice.
- 4.3 Order Amendments: Minor additions to your styling order can generally be accommodated up to 14 days before the event, subject to stock availability. Reductions in the order total after the booking fee has been paid cannot exceed 10% of the original quote value.
5. Delivery, Setup, and Collection
- 5.1 Venue Access: It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure we have adequate access to the venue for setup and collection at the agreed-upon times.
- 5.2 Setup Requirements: We require a safe, clear working environment. If tables or specific areas are not ready for styling upon our arrival, we reserve the right to leave the items for venue staff to place, or charge an hourly waiting fee.
- 5.3 Collection: All hired items must be packed and ready for collection at the agreed time, or left exactly as they were styled (depending on the agreement).
6. Damages, Loss, and Liability
- 6.1 Responsibility: The Client assumes full financial responsibility for all hired items from the moment of setup until the items are collected by our team.
- 6.2 Breakages and Loss: Any items that are lost, broken, heavily stained, or damaged beyond repair while in your care will be charged at their full replacement value. An itemized invoice for replacements will be sent within 7 days of the event and must be paid within 14 days.
- 6.3 Liability: Bells & Bows shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused to any person or property as a result of our hired items.
7. Force Majeure
Bells & Bows shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to: severe weather, power failure, strikes, pandemics, or acts of God. In such events, we will work with you to postpone or find a reasonable alternative.
8. Photography and Marketing
We reserve the right to take photographs of our styling at your event and use them for marketing purposes on our website, social media, and promotional materials. If you prefer us not to use images from your event, please notify us in writing prior to the event date.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
